Co-founded in 1994 by Abe and Nicole Adewale after a decade of service at the Illinois Department of Transportation working on major roadway and bridge construction projects, ABNA’s number one goal is to delight its clients. ABNA has historically provided engineering services for Civil, Structural, Transportation, Geotechnical as well as Land Surveying, Construction Management, General Contracting, GIS/Planning, Testing and Inspection Services. ABNA provides services in several states such as Missouri, Illinois, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Indiana, Michigan, Kansas, Kentucky, Arkansas and Iowa. ABNA has successfully delivered on numerous construction and engineering projects representing owners such as MSD, MoDOT, Monsanto, BJC, IDOT, IL Tollway, Lambert Airport, O’Hare International Airport Expansion, K12 and Higher education institutions. More recently, ABNA successfully completed a St. Louis Public Schools paving project at their Buildings and Grounds operation center as a general contractor.

Over 70 people strong, ABNA is prepared to commit the necessary resources, including staff, equipment and software to meet the requirements of your project schedules. Our central West End location allows easy and timely accessibility to most project sites and other meeting locations to provide personal contact whenever needed.

ABNA has an AASHTO Accredited Laboratory that voluntarily participates in the AMRL and CCRL Sample Proficiency Testing Program. ABNA’s laboratory is also Validated by the Corps of Engineers and is an IDOT approved laboratory.

ABNA's Construction Service Department has a staff of Quality Field technicians with ACI, MoDOT Concrete Field, MoDOT Concrete Strength, IDOT PCC, and Pervious Concrete certifications.

Some of ABNA’s major projects include the New I-64 Design/Build and the Lindbergh Tunnel that traverses beneath Lambert Airport. Our corporate portfolio includes Monsanto’s W1 Parking Garage, University of Missouri-Columbia Surgical Tower, and BJC Ambulatory Care Clinic. ABNA envisions that communication will be the key to successful delivery of any project we undertake. ABNA carries $1 mil each occurrence - $2 mil aggregate of Professional Liability and General Liability Insurance. In addition, to $1 mil each occurrence and $1 mill aggregate of worker’s compensation coverage.

ABNA is licensed in the states of Illinois, Missouri, Indiana and Arkansas to offer engineering and land surveying services.
