Description
The Public Works Department Building is located at 2871 W. Elm Point Industrial Dr. St. Charles, Missouri. The Public Works Building is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday – Friday, except for holidays.
The Public Works Department is responsible for managing, operating and maintaining the infrastructure found in the City's right-of-way, including streets, alleys, parking lots, bridges, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, traffic signals, traffic signage, street striping, curb painting, sanitary sewer system, storm drain system, reclaimed and water systems for irrigation, street lights, street sweeping, graffiti removal, landscapes and tree trimming. The Public Works Department is also responsible for general management operation and care of City facilities as well as maintenance and repair of the City's vehicle fleet and equipment.
